  1. Hey Rita - I love these quotes!

In terms of your question about moving to South Africa - it's not that difficult compared to other countries immigration policies. I started out her on a semester abroad, so I was on a study visa when I met my boyfriend. I then studied another year so just extended that.

But now I'm on a relatives visa which you can do and just declare youself as being the "life partner" of your bf. If you first go into SA, they will just give you a 3 month temporary relatives visa upon entry which will give you time to submit your paperwork for the relatives visa. There are several documents you will need, some of which will be easiest to get while you're still in Portugal - so if you're really considering immigrating then just email me at finchjenna@yahoo.com and I can send you more detailed info and links.

You do have to be careful in some area in SA just like there are certain areas I had to be careful in the States and I'm sure the same goes for Portugal - but if you are smart and don't put yourself into a bad situation then 99.9% of the time you'll be fine - I've been here over three years and have never had anything bad happen to me or anything get stolen, etc.

Plus, SA is REALLY gorgeous and there's so much to do and see here - you and the BF will just have to decide which option would be better for you. :)

Hope this helps and let me know if you want to send you more info about the relatives visa option!

    xoxo
    Jenna

  2. Oh my, this Robert Pattinson quote is great! I mean, I knew he is underrated, but that makes him sound very wise and kind!
