4 impossible things before breakfeast

"I can't believe that!" said Alice.
"Can't you?" the queen said in a pitying tone. "Try again, draw a long breath, and shut your eyes."
Alice laughed. "There's no use trying," she said. "One can't believe impossible things."
"I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
I find this quote from Lewis Carroll really very inspiring. Why not believe impossible things? So I decided to give it a go and start believing it everyday as well, I didn't believe as many as 6 but I believe 4 are equally as good. Maybe tomorrow I'll believe some more! So here it goes....
1. I have the most beautiful wings and I can travel all over with them. I'm going to visit friends soon...
2. "My bed wouldn't let me get up this morning, I did struggle! But I had to stay in, she can be really persuasive when she wants" - Said I to my boss.
3. "Yes is true I'm dating JGL. I gotta tell you he smells so nice! Speak to you later, bye." (click!)
4. Dear miss Nunes we're sending you this letter to inform you that you've been nominated as a successor  for the role of princess and will never have to worry about doing your hair, or anything else as a matter of fact, in your entire life. We'll be sending a limousine to pick you up at 6pm.
sincerely,  Elizabeth II.
Ok, that's it for today, this is really fun to do actually, you should try it! what kind of impossible things will you think off?

What I've been up to lately...

So lately besides working I've been trying to get in touch with my artistic side. As you may have noticed I didn't really post much this year. I just didn't have a lot of patience to think about posts lately. I know it sounds awful and as consequence I haven't really spend much time on my blog. It's just I've always posted because I felt like it and really enjoyed it and I still do but I don't want to make of my blog something I must do but I want to be able to post only when I feel like it. I am seeing this state as a refresh of ideas. Hope you understand I still adore you all! :)
But continuing with what I was saying... I've been trying to get in touch with my artistic side and I've been carrying a sketch book with me everywhere. I've been mostly drawing on my way to work in the train or the bus (that's when I have time). At first I was determined to draw only feathers, because I love them so, but then because I've joined Hitrecord I kind of couldn't resist and started sketching some other characters and even type. I really love all the concept of the site and all the artist I've seen so far, it has given me a lot of inspiration and will to keep drawing. It all came out of Mr. Joseph Gordon-Levitt's master mind! combine cuteness and brains and a Regular Joe is born. When I feel ready I will surely post some of my drawings to show you guys.

I've also been keeping up with my reading and I'm reading Franz Kafka Letter to His father. I've read metamorphosis that was by him as well and I loved it. This made me want to read more of his work and I'm not disappointed.

Also this weekend was spend watching films at home. I've watched Rio, (500) Days of summer and 50/50 (feeding my JGL obsession). I had watched (500) days of summer and 50/50 before but my sister didn't so I made the effort of watching it again. Lol I actually love to show films I like to people and see their reaction and explain parts they may not  understand. But don't worry I wouldn't do that in the cinema.... xD

Just to end in style I will also tell you the song that has been on my mind lately. It's "Please, please, please let me get what I want..." by The smiths (500) soundtrack. :)

Hope you enjoy and feel free to share your addictions lately it would give me great inspiration. ;p ***Rita***

Treats in the mail!

Hello there!
So sorry for my absence this couple days but you know my excuse is always work... Hope you all had a great New Year's beginning with lots of lovely stories to tell. As soon as I get a bit more free time I'll hopefully be posting some more material.

Now a few weeks ago I won a couple of Giveaways and I just want to say a little thanks to Michele and Marisa for their lovely packages that finally arrived.

Seriously love this Illustration and the scrapbook I'm already using, taking it with me everywhere! So thanks again hope you have a great coming week. :)
